All servicing and repair work on your BMW or MINI will be carried out by the Munich Legends BMW trained technicians without affecting the manufacturer’s warranty in any way. Of course all genuine BMW and MINI parts are covered by the same full BMW/MINI warranty offered by BMW franchised dealers. Your peace of mind is therefore guaranteed.
At Munich Legends, our hourly rate is less than half the rate typically charged by the BMW main dealer network. Our parts department offer a price guarantee as standard, and all BMW/MINI genuine parts are typically up to 30% or more below main dealer prices. Overall savings on servicing and repair bills can be around 50% or more compared to the BMW main dealer network. We check our prices to ensure they remain competitive on a monthly basis.
Many of our customers choose to have their BMW and MINI service carried out whilst they wait. We offer hot and cold drinks, Wi-Fi internet access and TV, comfy seating and a friendly atmosphere for those who choose to stay with their car. We encourage customers to inspect our workshops and meet our technicians should they wish to do so. For those customers who choose our 1-2-3 Free courtesy car service, most services are completed by the next working day, with your car returned to you at the location of your choice. Should any unplanned work become necessary (which will only be carried out with your full authority) and parts need to be ordered (we carry all standard service items in stock) this may mean the usual next day turnaround is not possible. We keep our customers informed at every step of the way, and there is no surcharge for keeping the courtesy charge for the duration of the work. We still operate the original 1980s ‘BMW 24-hour service reception’ from the days when The Ashdown Garage was the local main agent. In reality it is only a nightsafe, but it is fully secure and you can park your BMW under the full gaze of our 24-hour CCTV in front of the showroom. Your car will be booked in the usual way as soon as our staff arrive the next day. For out of hours collections your key can be collected from our dedicated key safe boxes, your vehicle will be waiting for you under the CCTV cameras.
We are open every day from 8 am to 6 pm although our service reception staff will wait for customers who are held up or unable to arrive before closing time, (wherever possible) by prior arrangement. We welcome customers who wish to collect their car in person. Our service reception team are happy to discuss any aspect of our service work and ongoing care for your BMW/MINI either over the telephone, by email or in person.
We always use only genuine BMW and MINI parts for all service and repair work – guaranteed (unless requested otherwise by you). These ‘OEM’ parts come with a full manufacturer warranty – exactly the same warranty offered by the BMW franchised (main dealer) network. Where specifically requested by the customer we are able to source a variety of parts from alternative sources, and even reconditioned or second hand parts can be found. Although these alternatives do not come with the same ‘cast iron’ guarantee offered by BMW for approved parts, almost all non BMW parts will come with a guarantee or warranty, from three months to one year. Some customers even choose to supply parts they have sourced themselves. Please ask our service reception team or parts department for further details.
