The E30 cabriolet is one of the most beautiful drop tops of the period, with that perfect flat-top shape making for an elegant, timeless look. Of all the variations, of course, the 6-cylinder 325i is the one to have, however finding a car you’d want to own is becoming increasingly challenging – we might see one or two on an average year if we’re lucky. And in they are immensely useable, too, meaning that most have monster mileage, or are worn to a frazzle. This one, however, is an absolute minter. We’ve known this car and its owner for some time, and whenever the car came in for work, the team at Munich Legends have always taken a few moments out to drool. Finished in immaculate diamond black, with matching black leather, its hard to imagine a cooler looking example. We’ve recently given the roof a recent overhaul, and having carried out a rigorous inspection, we’re happy to report that under the skin this car is every bit as good as it looks outside. None of he usual E30 Achille’s heels are there – the seats are in perfect working order, the roof opens, closes and stows perfectly, the windows aren’t tired and lazy, body trims are in excellent shape – and the car drives like a dream.
