Each modification has been very carefully thought through; the car still maintains all outward appearances of an original car, retaining the road manners & characteristics of a new E30 M3, but the typical ‘flat spots’ have been ironed out, giving you that punch that you would usually expect from a Sport Evolution, just where you need it. Since the current owner purchased the car, he has spent in excess of £10,000, over the last 1,000 miles. The full mechanical refresh included replacing all the ball joints and bushes, the shock absorbers have been uprated to Bilsteins & the springs are Eibachs, as well as this, the engine, gearbox & diff mounts have all been replaced. The cam carrier was removed & uprated Schrick cam shafts were fitted, it has a lightened flywheel, a short shift kit fitted and H&R front & rear roll bars. It has also benefitted from a new clutch, uprated brakes, Goodridge brake hoses, new steering track rod arms, new heater valves, a new distributor cap & rotor arm. Most of the replacement parts have been upgraded components to improve & update the car, -almost every consumable has been uprated. You would be hard pressed to find another non-Evo in the same league as this.
The dog-leg pattern ‘box and left-hand drive layout become second nature almost immediately, and the steering lives up to its light and razor sharp reputation. Great cornering, interior ride comfort and body control all come as standard, increased by great visibility thanks to those iconic slim pillars.
