An incredible, fully-loaded E61 M5 with just shy of 47,000 miles on the clock and just 2 owners from new. The front of this car has been covered by Armourfend, which has left the bumper, bonnet and front wings in excellent condition to match the rest of the gleaming, Interlagos coachwork. The Full Merino Schwarz leather interior is completely unmarked, and the car is currently running on the 19” M Double-Spoke Alloys selected as an order option at the factory.
The E61 M5 is fitted with the 5.0, S85 V10 powerplant, twinned with a 7-speed sequential M gearbox that was designed specifically to go with it. Rated at 507 hp (DIN) / 500 hp (SAE) @ 7,750 rpm and 383 lb-ft of torque @ 6,100 rpm this powerhouse pulls with some serious muscle, with the added fun of the center console “Power” button offering the driver 3 modes: P400 limits engine power to 400hp with standard throttle response; P500 unleashes the full effect of that impressive V10 with quickened throttle response; while P500 sport increases that throttle response even further for the bravest amongst us. The E61 is also fitted with the Launch Control function that can be activated giving maximum traction for the best possible standing start.
Despite all this, the E61 M5 is also a seriously practical car, not least of all because of the impressive specification on this particular model. The cabin features electrically adjustable, heated front seats with lumbar support, heated rear seats, USB-/audio interface, TV function, Head Up Display, Professional Navigation System, Panoramic Glass Roof, DAB Tuner, a 6-CD Changer, Automatic Air Conditioning and the Isofix attachment for those with childseats. While driving, the spec list includes Adaptive Headlight Xenons with Headlight Washer System, Park Distance Control, and Cruise Control, with the car’s added benefit of that smooth Automatic Tailgate Operation and Skibag for easy loading.
To complement the quality of the car and its impressive specification, the service book is fully stamped from BMW main dealers, including the running-in service at 1,071 miles at Stephen James Ruxley and an engine oil change less than a month ago at Vines of Guilford. The rear brake pads are due to be replaced in our own workshops included in the retail price, while the fronts are showing 8mm left, and it will come with a fresh MOT certificate.
As if this wasn’t enough, a full BMW warranty is currently active on the car and can be transferred to the new owner upon sale, along with the tracker subscription.
This is a brilliant car with a burgeoning spec list and impeccable history.
