This very special F10 was built in 2013 and began life as a press car – but not to be ragged by journalists – in fact it never saw tarmac. This was principally because it literally never left the factory compound in Germany until 2020 – by which time the only exposure it had to the outside world was in press photographs. It was imported into the UK and was sold as a new car in 2020 – it even has a ‘new car’ 3 year (transferrable) warranty expiring in ’23 – and has had only one owner since arrival – our customer. Presented in utterly immaculate Sakhir orange with contrasting extended leather and loaded with every imaginable extra, this is truly a very special M5. Our inspection has revealed exactly what you’d expect from a 14,000 mile, one owner, one year old car – it is spotless, and mechanically perfect.

The F10 M5 took the M5 concept to an entirely different level. The last of the rear wheel drive M5s, and, finally, mated to a duel-clutch smooth gearbox – unlike its V10 predecessor – the full power of that V8 4.4 litre twin turbo monster could be unleashed to full effect. Remember, this incarnation of the M5 pushes out 560bhp and 500lb/ft of torque. The F10’s road presence is masterful, and is just as happy racing round on a weekend track day as it is pounding across Europe on fast motorways, adding luxury and comfort – as well as sheer driveability – into the mix for the first time.
