The F10 was BMW’s first turbo charged M5, following on from the gloriously flawed V10-powered E60. With a twin-turbo V8 pushing out 560 bhp as standard and 500lb/ft of torque, and comfort levels more like a 7 series – as well as a 7-speed DCT manual/sequential gearbox – the F10 was already a gamechanger. Then came the Competition Pack version, pushing power output up to 575bhp and giving the driver uprated suspension and steering, retuned Active M differential, retuned MDM DSC stability control and larger alloys, as well as some subtle trim changes, such as the black exhaust tips. Now the F10 M5 was a proper weapon. Fast, comfy, surprisingly chuckable and with a lovely exhaust note, the F10 Comp Pack took the M5 model to a different level entirely. In all, only 785 of these special cars were made in RHD, and most of those were the pre-LCi version. It is thought that there are as few as 250 CP/LCi editions in RHD.
This particular M5 CP is the LCi (facelift) version, in a lovely colour combo. Previously owned and cared for by a genuine BMW enthusiast, this is one hell of a car, at a very appealing price. A thorough inspection has been carried out by our technical team, and a short list of works has been drawn up for completion prior to the new owner taking possession – new front brakes, basic oil service, MOT, drive shaft seal and tyre inflation kit replacement – plus the usual care package. The tyres are nearly as new and of course, the servicing will be correct and fully up to date.
